Book overview - What if an archangel was placed on earth, yet he didn't know who he was or anything about his destiny and purpose? What if dreams given up on long ago could suddenly come true? Joshua, in the miracle-driven novel by Lance Dakota, Nia's Rose, clinging to his dreams of the past, soon realizes he has been chosen by God to prepare the way for Jesus' Second Coming. After witnessing the violent death of his mother at the age of three, Joshua grows into an emotionally troubled young man who goes back to college attempting to make his father proud while giving his older brother Tim all he can handle. Joshua deeply touches the souls of everyone he comes into contact with, especially Nia, a beautiful nineteen-year-old with great trials in her life. Joshua, Nia, and Tim all have dreams they hope to fulfill, and through miraculous works, they realize their true callings as crusaders of God, chosen for His divine purpose.
Archangel Michael, known in Hebrew as “Mikh’ael” meaning, “Who is like God,” is the lead archangel revered in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. He is the most powerful of all angels, the Guardian Prince of Israel, defender of the Faith and warrior against evil. Michael is cited in the Book of Revelation 12:7-12. “Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angles fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to earth, and his angels with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: 'Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and nigh, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they’d not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows his time is short.'"
11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”
